... i was forced to walk home. It took 2 gruesome hours and I attempted to steal 3 bikes along the way, though my conscious kept getting in the way and I would keep pushing out and putting the bike back.
Bursting through the door I dropped to my knees in tears yelling and laid out all the events to a still wasted and very confused Jason. The next day I realised how thin the walls were and came to realisation that everyone on the entire floor would have heard my breakdown!

... backed into a space, a covering opened, and they dumped their snow into heated spaces in the ground, thus melting the snow on contact. I had heard about these at private homes and even seen a few in front of local businesses, but wasn't aware of the fact that they existed in such large scale. It's just another reminder of the adaptations and inventions that have come about from life in such a snowy climate.

... We knew he was from New Zealand but come to find out he was actually raised in Japan by missionary parents, so he actually considers Japanese his first language. I'm not sure whose house we went to but Gerald told us that the parents were away and the son volunteered to have 30 or so of us over for curry rice. The son of course is probably in his 40's, so that was funny to hear. We did have to leave a little early since our ride back to the subway was leaving but it was a fun night. ...

... with friends, a date (playaaa), band practice and a night out on the town with a fellow ALT who came into town for 2 days only! I was a mess. I couldn`t walk. Sunday night I woke up at one point to go to the loo and my leg would not straighten. I couldn`t even limp on.
