In the early hours of this morning we docked in Bonn. Based on the date of the first written mention in 11 BC, Bonn celebrated 2,000 years of settlement in 1988. ... hour drive to Bonn. I was driving today and the journey out of Antwerp was easy and painless and we accelerated onto the motorway heading eastwards. The journey was a special one today as our route took us from Belgium into Germany but with a slight thirty mile detour through the Netherlands. ... t bad. I called it sushi. Had friends that said it was good and trusting soul that I am I ate it. Glad I did. Just have to try new things.
