... board and lodging very good value. Self catering for breakfast and lunches helps, so we are eating a 'traditional' Bauska meal, complete with local Bauska beer in the hotel café tonight. This trip is already a succession of interesting, great meals with the time between spent exploring lovely and fascinating places.
I did, however, push my luck with my comment about no rain in the last ...

I don't believe in mindfulness. I don't particularly like team building exercises. I don't want to think about my future. And "heydays" are a stupid invention made by yuppish businessmen who want a couple of days off work.

... up on that idea and went for a simple 4 missile site that would be abandoned after they had launched all the missiles.
Wasn't hugely interesting, you could only go on a guided tour and that was in Lithuanian, not a lot to see compared with one in Ukraine I saw a couple of years ago, there you could go down into the silo and press buttons......check out the pictures ...

The Rundäle Palace was built for the Duke of Courtland in the 18th century. The architect Rastrelli was impressed by Versailles and copied it here. Now we are back home from Argentina and Patagonia's autumn to Latvia's spring. Our trip was excellent. We both are inspired and have some findings to share:
