... Aussie! The one that did speak some German read the back of the grießnockerl packet and explained that it's something you add to soup - like you would with croutons. He suggested I use a Tom Yum soup cube that was with the herbs and spices in the kitchen, and add the grießnockerl to that. ... pass to an elevation of 2,149 meters. Coming down the back side of the pass we re-entered Austria and made our way back to the Innsbruck area in a driving thunderstorm. Backtracking to Achensee Lake we drove out of the storm on our way over the pass to Germany.
