... homemade beer which they was selling to us in the bar .
I acedently ordered the table the wrong drinks .... we ended up with a METRE or largr on the table in stead on a litre .
next I then ordered a 5 litre TOWER of beer which was delivered to the table and stood approx. ,, 5 foot above the table ..

That was quite a long flight! The time difference has me confused about the length of the flight, but here in Germany it is just before noon on April 14th. I had a good time, in spite of the long plane ride. I watched Interstellar for part of it, read my Bill Nye book, and reflected a bit. And when we landed, I got my first passport stamp! I have officially set foot in Germany. (even if it's just an airport) We have a layover here, I think it's supposed to be three hours. Shouldn't ...

... Today we will be going to Spessart (a region near Frankfurt). Then we will go into downtown Frankfurt and do some shopping. Tonight I might stay at Tante Gitta and Onkel Johannes's house with Rachel. I think I am going to teach Rachel the word wednesday and maybe some opposites (if I can remember them). But first she has to get tuesday and the colours right.

... sense to the Germans. Someone mentioned it is the 5th busiest airport in the world. Based on the hikes, rides & strict security checkpoints, I would agree that something is most definitely up in Frankfurt. I felt like we were in a town versus an airport.

Our layover was about 3 hours. I purchased a $10 sandwich and a $4 bottle of water.
