    ... The Rheinfalls are such a popular tourist destination that all the hotels are often booked throughout the year.     ... which we were able to get very close to. Caught the local bus up to Schaffhausen via 30 min of countryside and township. This town is one of the best preserved cities dating back to the middle ages. It has numerous oriels (like big bay windows) and numerous fountains.
