    ... along the lake. It was huge and beautiful. We drove to Thun where our hotel was for the night. We were a little disappointed that we didn't have WiFi in our room, just in the main building areas. So, Eldon worked on some plans, and I read my book.

    ... climbed the stairs to the rental counter, cleared the paper work in less then a minute and we where on our way....by train ?? Hum....no, we have plenty of time, why don't we take the paddle steamer to Lausanne?
    That's a deal, let's do that.
    The return trip was on the clearest and warmest day we had for some time, enjoying the sun, the water and scenery, sailing from Geneva to Yvoire (France) and back along the coast the Lausanne.

    ... someone was being laid to rest. As a side note, the cemetery was stunning. Each plot had its own flower garden which was obviously tended to often. Behind one headstone was a trowel for when the loved one visited. Not one plastic trinket in sight, just lovely seasonal flowers. What a beautiful place to be laid to rest and what a way to honor loved ones. We followed the path until it came to a pedestrian only section. The path seemed so minuscule compared ...

    ... at the train station in Zurich on Thursday and we headed straight to Luzern. We stayed at the student appartment of her friend, which was amazing and headed straight out to the carnival which was in full flow. What a great night it was. The streets were full of fully dressed up Swiss folk dancing and drinking. It was a perfect night. We drunk copious amounts of Gluhwein and 'Schumli phlumli'.
