... and decided to take a small walk around while the weather was on the up! We trekked up to Staubbach falls (the waterfall that is right outside our room window) and then made our way back to our room.

What started out as a miserable day, ended on a good note. But what made this day even more fabulous was hearing the news of my best friend Mari giving birth to her first born, Oscar Flynn! I cannot wait to go home and meet this little man! ...

... but the lady said no, I would have to buy one for 11 francs. I looked from the lady to my can, hung my head, said "thanks anyway" and left the store. I was beaten. I had no money left and didn't want to spend the minimum 20 francs on my credit card to buy something else and so out of principal I went at my can like a crazy person with the bottle opener I bought in Cinque Terre.
