About 3 hours later the train we were on in Germany had a failure just out of Frankfurt. Everyone from that train had to transfer onto another train which was already quite full. It took a bit o f time to rearrange people. Finally we were on our last leg to Basel and arriving 3 hours later then we had planned to.

Thankfully we were able to communicate with Christine ...

... bends. You could slow it down with hand -brakes, but it was still fast and leaned over on the corners --28 bends in all. I reached the bottom without too much drama, but it was a scary experience, well out of my comfort zone ! We had a good laugh over my discomfort!
