    ... the summit before even stepping outside. Quickly realising our error, we made our way back to the summit and explored Zugspitze! Amazing 360 degree views from up there. Visibility was great. We headed inside and found some lunch. Tasty sausage and mustard with some potato pomms, followed by a baked cheese cake. These Germans know how to eat! We finished lunch and it was 3:10pm.     ... that was all the town, but either way, we stopped for lunch, we both had Nürnberger Bratwurst with sauerkraut and mustard. Pete had a coke and I had rhabarberschorle , Rhubarb Juice. Why haven't I heard about this? Why don't we have this? Was so good and refreshing. Back down to lower altitude, the temps were in their 30's.     ... Prince of Liechtenstein. Since the country is only approximately 5 miles wide, we find ourselves in and out of Lichtenstein, crossing over the Rhine River border into Switzerland, in no time at all. Once in Switzerland, we continue along to Zürich, check into the Sheraton Zürich Neues Schloss, figure out the parking situation, and get some rest for another busy day tomorrow!     ... a larger town, which would be more appealing to the IOC. The plan worked and they got the games. The winter Olympic stadium was beautiful, but tiny in comparison to what we have seen in "modern" times.
