Hung over again

... ill but it was cheap and filled us up.

We went to a place called Montys bar where they had a live act on we thought it was going to be really cheesy but it turned out to be ok. Steve the man who was playing was really good and played lots of old classics man rock songs so Ian liked it and I enjoyed it to. We then stagered back to our room around midnight a little drunk again. Looks like we are fitting right in with this holiday.

Too Funny

... and laughing at the funnyness of where we are.

As we walked past the bars imagine how funny it was to see loads of english couples a little older all sat in a bar watching only fools and horses. I always thought people where kidding when they said they came on holiday like this but is so true. Each to there own is all I can say. Ian is struggling to adjust and keeps saying he wants some spanish food. Lol.

Sunrise over the Med

... the store brand which was surprisingly good.

i guess i should mention why i am writing this blog. it's something i have always wanted to do, i have slowly taken an interest in writing, especially about travel, mostly my travels. i'm not sure where this writing experiment will lead but isn't that part of the fun? i decided to start with this trip because it involves my upcoming 12 night cruise from malaga to miami via the canary and madeira islands and the bahamas ...

Caves of Nerja

Today we had an excursion to the Caves of Nerja about an hour away on the bus. The little town on the water was cute and reminded me so much of Dubrovnik. We have free time to visit the little church and have an ice cream. Then we were off to the nearby caves which were fascinating but didn't learn much because the guide was doing double time with the tour speaking both French and English and he spoke mostly French even when he was speaking English it seemed.

Morocco deserves more than a day!

... people overall seem like they´re just trying to live their lives, if you look past the street hustlers. The city didn´t feel any less safe than Istanbul, or even Barcelona for that matter. Our view of organized tours has not been changed, however, and if we go again, we´re definitely visiting Morocco on our own. It´s worth a lot more than 3 hours.

For now we´re packing up from our lovely vacation, and heading back on the bus to Sevilla, our final stop in Spain. Stay tuned!

Malaga City Tour

After breakfast and nice stroll on the beach, we head out to see the next city in the list which was Malaga. Malaga is very big compare to its size on the map :)
The trick is to head out to the old part of town to see the actions. Lots of architectures are dated back few years.
Cathedral as like the other places, is a must see in the old city. Small cobble stone alleys make it very nice and easy for walk.
The best ...

DAY 1 - Madrid to Torremolinos, Malaga

... man-made lake, we watched kayakers get in their morning work out. I tried to feed some ducks but settled on feeding some giant goldfish. We circled around to other side of the lake, where I decided we needed a picture together. Spaniards wearing Madrid Marathon T-shirts, which was being held that weekend, walked by. They looked like they were on a mission, so I asked a slower walking elderly man to ...

Grenada Por Nada

... went, "Welcome to Tijuana. We have tequila and sexo and marijuana." The other took me awhile to figure out, but it was a cover en Espanol of The Clash's "Police On My Back." I asked what the name of the band was and she told me XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX, and they're from Grenada. After that I visited the Cathedral, which was quite nice and had not one giant set of organ pipes but two so they mirrored each other, and the Capilla Real, where you can see the crypts of dead ...
