    ... so we thought ….. Soden’s! I think most people who know us would agree that eating at the pub was a fitting welcome to our family so we were really happy to do (almost) the same tonight. Although happy was not how we felt about it being our last meal together :(

    ... there was really no decision to be made, off we went. As it turned out getting home took quite a bit longer than we had anticipated so we didn’t get much time with Mali, but Lil was happy busying herself with the guinea pigs. After dropping Mali off at school I had a very late lunch, again sitting around the table with Annette and Lyndon.     Afterwards we bid Franz goodbye and headed to the River Alster to hire some canoes and a paddle board for a self-guided tour around the canals and lake, albeit very slow in pace and therefore limited in distance.
