Very nice hotel, very clean and pretty. Good for a quick stopover but not sure if it's near much if you are wanting to sight see. Breakfast was fab - best muesli ever.

Had a walk around Saint - Quentin this morning and had some lovely croissants and pan au chocolate from Patissier Boulanger in the square. Fantastic buildings and an amazing clock tower where the bells ring an amazing melody every half hour.

We took a long walk around the city this evening and had a great fish & chips dinner and salad at our hotel, sitting out front by the water, just people watching. It was a great day from start to finish!

Three cable cars (gondola, rectangular and rotating) takes us up 10,000 ft. It's the first time I see real snow and I'm in complete awe. I hang out with John who gives me a photo lesson on using a Fish eye lens (but I feel bad as he loses one of his lens cap in the process of doing so as it goes over the cliff). It's a dangerous bonding ...

A famed train trip if ever there was one.....well we missed it by 4.5 hours...what a bugger! so what do you do in Chur,....not much at all.
However we visited the train station office to find another route back to Luzern,...and what a trip it was.
We had a 5hour trip ahead of us.By using the Eurail pass and an extra 17 euro each, we were able to do a 2hr section on the famed Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn (train)..which is operated by a private ...
