... weather. They offered a special lunch called Fruhschoppen: bretzels, four types of sausages, sauerkraut, beer and of course Black Forest Cake.

... to take several times. At the end it decided that the clothes were already dry – but even though some were still quite damp, it refused to dry them anymore. In the end we took them up to the cabin and had clothes hanging to dry all day. We weren't the only ones having this issue.

... in 1945 when it
was bombed there were 5000. So only about 1000 lives where lost even though the
city was raised to the ground. Many buildings were rebuilt in the old style but
we did walk through a area with high rise housing like Highbury.
Tonight after dinner we are to have special singers on board
for a La Scala presentation (when NO drinks will be served.)
All the news now time to get ready for dinner.
