... two hundred Euro and vouchers etc and his computer. You guessed it. It was a ruse and so believable. It certainly was lesson and put a bit of a damper on the day. Good news! Tour Director received phone call, bag, papers and Passport found and being sent on to him another City. Computer and cash missing. Enjoyed seeing Cologne Cathedral and cruise on Rhine. Tonights dinner was a special gala dinner with everyone all dressed up. Dinner was as usual very yummy, but the after dinner entertainment was a treat. The crew performed a show for us all. Very funny and good, lots of fun had by all. After the finish of that it was time for dancing and a drink (Rob and I had one dance, we couldn't keep up with the others).

Off to bed with a cuppa and some cruising to Amsterdam.

    Goodnight from Avalon Felicity.

I missed airman David and his company, but I did chat to a British policewoman I'd seen earlier in the week, a guy that distributes potatoes and some air cadets. I also got squeezed between some Dutch and Danish troops (lucky me!) and generally pushed a little harder when I needed to.

The theme for the garden decorations in Elst appeared to be walking songs, or maybe just songs, it was a little hard to ...

... to the culture associated with the everyday lives of normal people. Very interesting, very nice day. Notable - the section on collectors and the weird things they collect!!!

After many hours there (about 6 I think) we left and headed off to Dave and Sanne. We had meant to stop at some other castles on the way, but due to how long we'd spent at the open air we couldn't do that
