... for their marriage - so much for that!

Day 2, we visited the beach and then biked around the Lake. What a great way to get around. We biked past former Yugoslav leader, Tito's personal summer home, and then through Bled Town where we met a very nice couple from the UK who regaled us with the story of their trip around the world (5 continents). Lunch followed on a (another) terrace on the ...

... the scenery was stunning with some impressive agriculture in Italy.

To maintain an average speed of 60km/hour is difficult. Oh well, we were on holiday so what’s the rush. So to the sound of German rock and roll on the radio we took a leisurely drive from Switzerland into Italy and then into Austria where we stopped at a small camp ground in Glanz. Three countries in one day. Not ...

... echoed around the place. Where we lay, we had a perfect view of the island and distant mountains. Although the place was busy and bustling with people, it still felt calm and peaceful. I think it's the first time, in a long time, that I felt fully relaxed. When you just lie somewhere so beautiful, with the sun beating down and the sky unbroken, you find time to clear your mind and focus on what's important. It's not like sunbathing on a beach. All you can see ...
