    ... countryside towards Vienna. One heart stopping moment when we nearly came bumper to bumper with a car overtaking at speed round a blind corner. Paul braked hard and aimed for the roadside, the truck being overtaken did the same, and the other driver accelerated hard and sailed through.

    ... as tight as a camel's backside in a sandstorm I continued to drink the concoction. Mind you after half a cup even the thought of wasting one Euro was soon overcome by the somersaults my guts were doing as each sip did a jig at the back of my throat before it finally gave in and was swallowed.     ... His parents greeted us outside with heartfelt hugs and warm exchanges, this being the first time we'd ever met after years of hearing about one another. His mother spoke very little english, but I'm constantly amazed at how much warmth and feeling can be shared without a word spoken.     ... and sunny, it was a bit of a trek, but well worth the effort.
    After I got back to Bled, I went for a walk around the lake in the gathering dusk. It was another pretty walk, with changing views of the island and castle.
    That night, in our rather lovely hotel, Kayla and I slept with the window open to let in the fresh, peaceful country air - no noisy traffic here!

    ... makes her clothes fit better. Clare continues to be some what of a talking point on the tour with one of our fellow travellers wanting to video her today to support emails already sent home about this amazing older woman.

    Tim boldly went where we 3 females dared not go: to the hairdressers. His hair cut and beard trim were lost in translation!

    As we leave SLOVEnia we look forward to our next conquest, Italy.
