      ... glistening water, with the pastel pink color of its 600-year old Pilgrimage Church of the Assumption of Mary elegantly glowing against the backdrop of strikingly green forest-covered mountains. Enough of the poetry, you get the idea. Absolutely 110% spec-tac-u-lar and highly recommend.

      Finally, there was a fast food place called 'horse hot' and they sold horse. Horse burgers, horse wrap, horse salad. Anything horse you wanted you could get it. Delicious? Of horse!

      big those drops are off the edge this winding road or perhaps track describes this
      better. Then onto Lake Predil and a stop for coffee and then onto
      Italy and drop through a long steep valley then over Nassfeld Pass and back into

      Although rain had followed us from Lake Bled, we headed out to hike to the Rinka (waterfall) at the top of the Logarska Dolina. This waterfall is the second highest in Slovenia, at more than 300 feet. After a cappuccino stop, we took another short hike through the valley to see a mountain hut and other sites.

      This morning, I headed up to Bled Castle - and I do mean up - lots of stairs! It was quite a climb. The castle dates from 1100AD, and has been added to over the centuries, and following damage in 1511 was restored to its current appearance.       Day 35 Cividale and Slovenia This morning we have until after lunch to see what Cividale has to offer. Paul remembers from when he was here in 2009 some of the sights that impressed him most, so he has a rough itinerary sorted. We have breakfast in the Bad and Breakfast, then set out for the morning.
