    Silver Whisper docked just outside of the centre of Gdansk, and the cruise line organized some shuttle buses to take us to the Old Town. 20 minutes on the bus we were a block away from the main sights.

As the tower was the tallest thing for miles, it was now the pathway for cellular, microwave and every other transmission media that required line of sight.
