... we had run short of time to try and search for the illustrious loos, (plus we couldn't even get our hands on one of the maps!). So if you do find yourself in Suwon for some reason make a visit to Mr Toilet House - which was Sim Jae-duck's personal residence up to his death in 2009. This toilet shaped building is currently a museum of all things waste, sanitation and toilet! If you have always had a thing about giant golden ***** then this a must see...

I have yet to go to the DMZ (border with naughty Korea) and I have yet to see the war memorial which I am reliably informed has every foreigner who served in the Korean War name etched on it. There is apparently a bloke who's job it is to find the name if you have a specific one so I shall be looking for a certain Thomas Evans of the Royal Medical Corp.

... rocks. I like the thrill of something actually being substantial enough to be life threatening. We made it to the top in about two and a half hours (it was fairly crowded so we could only move as fast as the people in front of us) and the view was spectacular. You could see the entire city of Seoul on one side, and the different mountains on the other side.
