Woke at 4:30am, just couldn't sleep. Steve was due to pick me up at 5:45am, when we called him he was just getting up. Yvette says he often sleeps in because he goes to bed too late. So that was my first day at Oktoberfest. Probably not how the young ones do it these days but it was a good day all the same. I managed to score myself a slight souvenir....scab on my knee from an ungraceful fall when jumping around like an idiot. What can I say....it's the irish in me.
