... on after doing a bit of shopping to Freiburg. As the gateway to the black forest, we caught a train through to a town called Titisee and did a quick hike in the nearby hills. The black forest turns out to be quite large and we didn't have much time so after our day trip we had to keep going, leaving most of the hikes and black forest towns behind us. We caught a train that followed the Rhine up to Cologne, a lively town that was mostly destroyed in the war ...

It's been terribly long since I've last written anything, so I'm very sorry. I've found myself busy working on grad school applications, making travel plans, making dinner with my house mates and playing volleyball with my new team (a great new addition to my life I'll discuss more later.) Last Friday, however, my daily routine got shaken up as Fall Break began at my school. I have two weeks off for travel and fun! I've already completed the first half of my trip ...

The church did have a 'sanctified' feeling, and I was asked to remove my hat inside the building.<br><br>We took a few tasty and large pretzels and apfel strudels for lunch, once again enjoying the delights of German pastry shops. Unfortunately we did not have the time to visit the German-Roman museum, but we did manage to buy a few things at their gift shop.

This is not a great adventure, more a welcome back.<br><br>It is great to be back in Villiprott to visit our old friends since the 70ies. Now I have been staying with them for two weeks and we have done a lot of different things. This part of Germany have many interesting places to visit, both nature and culture.<br>

Straight from finishing work with COLT, I went to V festival. No pics, and you can get stories directly, but I then flew straight out on Monday to meet Philip, Lawrence and Elias in Germany to catch up on Philip's stag do.
