    ... Platz eingenommen hat. Francesca ist nun richtig sauer und eine emotionale Diskussion beginnt.

    Wir bleiben aber trotzdem 2 Tage hier und schauen uns die vielen ungleichen Paare an (junge Thai Frau und alter dicker Deutscher. Dabei fällt uns auf, dass praktisch niemand lacht und selten eine fröhliche Stimmung in den Go Go Bars herrscht.

    Wir wissen, dass wir nicht länger bleiben wollen und einen neuen Strand suchen. Aber ...

    ... pretty steep at 800baht a night. We continued walking and went a street back from the beach hoping to find a cheaper place and found a nice little room for 600baht a night. It was a little en-suite with a TV, sofa, aircon and even a fridge. Much nicer than the place in Bangkok. We dumped our things and headed straight out to explore the town and beach.

    ... got to the check in area an hour before we were due to depart. We checked in at the Singapore Airlines check in place to Bangkok with our bags, no problems. My 21.5kg bag mocking me almost as I watched it sit on the conveyor belt... I really must stop buying heavy things lol. We then headed out to the gate we were supposed to be departing from.
