... beef steaks to taste. It was a small token to say thank you for the generous hospitality of the family, over many meals they have provided and the special places they have shown us.

The goodbyes were hard, as we leave to go back to Krakow, then Frankfurt, early tomorrow. It has been a dream come true for Viktor and his family to be together. The love and acceptance they have shown both of us is just so special. The tears flowed as we said "Do Widzenia."

After three and a bit weeks of moving around, we had some time out. With a massive trade fair for plastic manufacturers in Kielce, all hotels and apartments are booked out. With the help of Booking.Com I found this place, about 40kms from the rellies in Kielce.

We then had a very wet drive to Kielce, about two hours away. Jola's son, Martin had lent his car for us to be picked up. Poland seems to be on the edge of the major system which has flooded Croatia. Better weather is forecast for the week ahead.

... was closed. We weren’t sure why, maybe because it was a Monday? As we left the restaurant, Bryn spotted a dwarf that we hadn’t seen before: the Ice Cream dwarf. We snapped a picture or two and headed to Vega, the vegetarian restaurant we’d ditched for desserts on Thursday.
