This morning we drove through Slovenia's only National Park. The park covers a few mountains near the Slovenia, Italy, and Austria borders. The road over the mountain contains 50 switchbacks/hairpin turns; that doesn't count other turns, just the severe ones! Grant, had the pleasure of driving with other drivers who like to use both lanes, along with motorcycles, ...

We were supplied with a map showing most of the towns points of interest which can all ...

It was an exciting ride, not the most challenging rafting trip I have ever been on, but a good introduction for Sam and Blake. When the trip was over, we were picked up again by our German speaking driver and swept rapidly back into town.

Lunch was eaten on the balcony of the ...

... join all the other punter tourists on the cramped boats, we decided instead to row out to the island from the closest point, in a rowing boat. It was a lovely calm day and our jaunt across the water was simple enough, once Mattijs had got the hang of the whole rowing thing! I had offered but the man who had rented us the thing had insisted the lady be rowed and I was hardly complaining!

Parking up proved a tad of a challenge (we had images of our rowing boat being smashed ...
