    Our first stop is the town of Dobbiaco, or Toblach as the locals would have it. It’s a typical alpine town. We are impressed by the churchyard. Every gravesite is immaculately tended. We coast through the pretty lakeside village of Malcesine, as see a “aperto" sign by a modest roadside restaurant (without a lake view).
