Today I bus to Frankfurt. I've been there before a long time ago when I worked for Penguins doing the book fair. I'd seen a little of the city then but it has grown in stature since and is more of a financial hub. It laden with foreigners it's not unlikeable though and has a lively atmosphere. Like Berlin there are some amazing smells around the city but also like ...

... countries! If not too exhausted from all the festivity, we will spend a few days around the Christmas holiday in Rome.

This past weekend we ventured into Frankfurt for a nice lunch, and to see the botanical garden in Frankfurt before it got too cold or wintery. See pictures attached. On a count to 3 we all had ...

Hello all! I was a bit worried about the trip when I realized I was sitting in between the two most annoying married couple on my Atlanta flight. It may have been the longest hour of my life! But the airline gods redeemed themselves by allowing me to sit alone on my international flight.

After the mediocre, packaged dinner, I took an Ambien and attempted to get comfortable... 45 minutes later I was passed out! I think I slept about ...

... we stopped at the first place we found. Cost was not an issue bed was. When we got up in the morning what a gem of a find. On the Rhine river, the day was bright and sunny and the view from the dining room was just like a postcard. Shelley made the comment the place was a bit like Basil Faultys hotel but only friendlier. At 99 euros for the night ,breaky and car parking, not only was it fantastic it was within the budget. Not wanting to get ...
