      The train journey back was again very hot, but as all the top stylistas know the best way to beat the heat is to sport the latest hat range from Primark...!

      Back at our lovely Vico Equense, we enjoyed a well needed drink and snack at a local bar before building up enough energy to tackle the hot and nauseous bus journey home! (Although we can’t complain as our ...

      ... of discussion and socializing. The majority of buildings in Pompeii are insignificant, unimportant dwelling of ordinary Roman families but the baths or the "spa" as they worked almost 2000 years ago was interesting. The journey back was as windy and treacherous as ever with maniacal drivers hither and thither, and of course maneuvering onto the harbour in the car was a nerve wracking experience, but today I took photos to show you. Well time for our last night in Sorrento, and I have my eye on a lovely restaurant just here on the beach in front of the hotel called Ghibli. Ill let you know if it works out. Rest well my lovelies, because tomorrow we are off to ...

      ... ready to leave the following day.
      On Saturday morning Michael took Gran (Richenda) to the train station for her European holiday was ending and she was to fly from Rome that afternoon. We packed up and said our goodbyes to Lucia and braved the chaos on the roads back to Naples to catch our train to Rome.

      PS. - I will never get used to the traffic in and around Naples. They have their own rules;
