Fire-engine! Go Go Go!

Hi, It hasn't been that long since the last entry, but lots of things have happened since then. Halloween craziness is over, and on Tuesday I asked Bruce Lee what he would dress up as next year, in which he replied, 'i think maybe...stag beetle'. News for the week, -Buy 1 get 1 free. 2 new boys in the class! -Field Trip to the FireStation! Remember how I said I was getting a new student, it turned out being 2. I now have another Japanese boy and also an ...

We saw three: one featured modern dancing, another was traditional bon, and the last was a taiko float. Made the trip to the Port completely worth it.

My mom and I ate breakfast at the hotel before we left Gifu. It was a buffet breakfast, and it was pretty nice. They had chocolate croissants too! I love chocolate croissants. I had to change floors just now because my mom came back from looking at that ...

Fish heads are considered a garnish here - I still don't understand how this can possibly trigger an appetite - I'm constantly asking myself, "what about plain-old parsley flakes?". To make things look more appealing they plop a severed fish head (everything, usually involving lips agape in a screaming-for-its-life fashion, and blank staring lifeless ...
