    ... of different Shinkansen trains coming and going, it is much fun to watch the different colored trains. There are several Shinkansen trains being delayed or even cancelled, which is quite unusual as trains in Japan run like clockwork and are always on time. Maybe the fact that last night several Shinkansen trains had to stop due to bad weather from typhoon Noel caused todays delays and cancellations? Our train arrives only 5 minutes late, others ...

    ... The yakitori was delicious too. When we want to leave the rain had finally come, there was a tropical downpour caused by the remnants of typhoon Noul. The hostess kindly offers us an umbrella which comes in very handy! There is a lot of wind and horizontal rain, luckily we don't have far to go and the umbrella shields our faces from the rain.     ... really early here - 4:30 a.m. and goes down at 6:30 p.m. They do not do daylight savings time here. The sun is very bright and beautiful. Haven't gone to a Starbucks or McDonalds yet even though I saw 2 of them. The weather here in Sendai area has been sunny, warm at plus 22 - 24 degrees Celsius. Humidity has been 65 - 85 ...
