There were original works dating back to the middle ages including many codices, incunabula and illustrated manuscripts but the number of early scientific treatises were a highlight including a book on optics by Rene Descartes and one of the most defining scientific publications of all time, Newton’s Principia Mathematica.     ... is just miserable as the hot sun. As I write this, on the train back to Budapest, it has started raining, so that will definitely cool things down.     Thank you Slovakia for the jagged mountains, friendly folk and bowls of hearty goulash, 'dakujem'.
