... we give it another try, ask a couple of guys the direction to "Ginsan" and show them the map as well. They tell us "hidari" which means "left" and one of them makes a cross sign with his hands, meaning "no". Who to believe? ... People are so very considerate and respectful of others. They are very quiet, on the underground you are asked to keep your phone off. And in the Shinkansen you are asked to go to the area where you board the train in case you need to talk on the phone. Which is exactly what people do..... Today's forecast is calling for rain, so this will be a good day to do laundry. After the concierge explains how to set the washing machine I start a load of white wash.
