Kiidettiin siis hirmu kyytiä Nagoyaan asti, jossa hypättiin ulos ja alettiin miettimään, että mitäs nyt sitten? Aseman näytöllä luki, että juuri on lähdössä juna Takaymaan, joten ei kun äkkiä ovesta sisään ja matkaan. Junan hurjasta diesel-murinasta jo kuuli, että nyt ollaankin sitten lähdössä hiukan erilaisille reiteille. Sen verran ymmärrettiin Japanilaista kuulutusta, että matka-aika Takaymaan on yli 3 tuntia ...

... of youth culture. Much like Time Square in New York .... lots of lights and lots of shops. There were thousands of people on the streets. Went to a fantastic noodle shop for dinner ... had an udon noodle bowl with a soft boiled egg. Also ate some deep fried noodle snack. It was all delicious.

Stopped at Starbucks again before cathcing the subway home.

... the city for a while more, enjoying the incredible lights of the central downtown area. It felt nothing like Chicago, but was still a lovely city. We eventually began searching for a restaurant for dinner, having given up on finding a respectable place to sleep that night. ... Osaka, and a chance to find out where the bus station would be. Well that took us 3 hours to find out, but another chance to see the other side of Osaka. Back to the Hotel, a shower and packed our bags. We are off to Tokyo.!!
