    Moving on from Pai, we made our way south to Lampang ready, eager and excited for the next two days we had planned. We were off to the Thailand Elephant Conservation Centre for two days work with the elephants, volunteering and staying with the mahouts (pronounced ma-hoot) who were the elephant keepers.     We were supposed to go on a hike and catch the night train at 7pm today. We were gonna buy them at the station but the hotel said we would buy them here. She also told us that the train left at 4...not 7. Haha good thing we figured that out or we would be stuck in Chiang Mai till the morning.
