The 6 of us spent the afternoon driving by the 2400 MW coal power plant and overlooking the 60 year old lignite coal mine. It was an incredible site. We enjoyed the tour, seeing some of the countryside, and spending the day with locals.

Laura loved the elephant centre so much she decided to write this one! We set off from Koh Phi Phi to Chiang Mai, and a few hours later we arrived at the Thai Elephant Conservation Centre.
