Bye Bye Brugge... Hello London!
... a huge thank you to them both for being such gracious hosts, and for Jaey for inviting me there both times and being so kind and generous.
Alas, it was time for me to catch my train to Brussels then to London. The train ride was uneventful, and actually the eurostar is incredibly efficient. Once I arrived in London at Kings Cross, I met with Jamie/JC (I think I have mentioned him using both his name and nickname) and off we went during rush hour traffic on the tube and the commuter ...

Merlebeke was a great little stop really. i chatted to the barman who is a real foody. They do international food days regularly. They did africa, sweeden, italy etc. I showed him a haggis recipe and as he loves eating offal he thought a scottish day would go down well. it was snowing heavily when I got up. It didnt settle on the ground long though as it was still about 2c. ...
Running errands- like a normal/real person :)
Guess what, it was raining today! But alas, Jaey was only 2 days away from leaving for his next contract so he had some errands to run. I must admit, running errands was a welcome task. It was kind of nice to do something normal after almost 2 months of traveling...

Another lazy start to the day, YAY. It was pouring rain today so Djuna didn't go to school (haha), Jaey had to leave early in the morning to sort out some papers before he goes on his next ship this week so I had a lovely sleep in.
