Typical Caldera hotel perfectly situated right on cliff edge and directly overlooking the old port, donkey track, cable car and up to caldera to Oui. Room 9 was great with a big side terrace and also a front balcony table. Cruise ships moored under on the caldera and activity all day with donkeys carrying ship passengers up the steep cliff face. Great hotel although approx. 110 steps to the top street level. Fantastic views of volcano island, caldera and sunset

Just cosy, beautiful and breathtaking. Staff were extremely friendly and assisted wtih carrying our bags to the top! Rooms were neat and comfortable.
The bonus to our stay here was just the top notch view of the caldera. So beautiful!!!

... own. And not straight up, but on a zig zag road up a very steep cliff, with quite low walls on either side...yowza! I must add that the clearly posted sign at the bottom of the cliff which stated that all donkey rides were fully insured left me with little comfort! After a little bit of touring around in Fira, we headed down on the cable car and back to the ship...exhausted and anxious for a shower, dinner and some well earned ...

When we arrive at 3am, no one knows about the travel transfers to the luxury hotel or our Greek American booking agent. In the end a carhire guy was great and drove us to 4 hotels until we found the right luxury hotel. This is a special night!

The luxury hotel has holes in the wall, a bed that sings to our every move. Only ...

... island for an amazing view over Santorini as well as other Greek Islands. We then kept on our way and eventually made it to the other side, but the detours and backstreets weren’t any hassle since driving around on an ATV is much more fun than on a car. We arrived at red beach, one of the many famous volcanic sand beaches on Santorini, and you guesses it… it has red sand. To reach it we had ...

... on the boat for a trip to the hot springs. Now, I've never been to any hot springs anywhere, but my understanding is they're bubbling and muddy. Well, this wasn't quite that. We had to jump into the sea and swim about 70 metres or so to get to the area, and then it's basically just hot, sulphuric water. Smelly and a little greasy. (alot of yellow **** came out of my bathers and clothes afterwards when I washed them afterwards) but it was still fun, and the ...
