Just cosy, beautiful and breathtaking. Staff were extremely friendly and assisted wtih carrying our bags to the top! Rooms were neat and comfortable.
The bonus to our stay here was just the top notch view of the caldera. So beautiful!!!

Checked into our cosy 'igloo' room which overlooked the caldera.

Had a spa bath and then walked through the town..Went to Parea's for what was meant to be traditional Greek but we got vege sides whcih looked like frozen McCains. However our dessert at the local dessert place pleased us much more - Greek doughnuts! Enough said.

Black sand beaches sprung from volcanic remains tracing the coast, towering cliffs jutting precariously out into the ocean, lush fertile soil, mineral rich from the debris, growing the most succulent olives, grapes and figs you’ve ever tasted in your life, it’s no wonder why the ancient Greeks saw this place and equated it with the playground ...

It is amazing to imagine the volcanic eruption that dropped half the island into the sea to great the Caldera – the bowl-shaped cliffs that border the western coast.

The towns along the west coast are just as picturesque as their reputation has them to be. It’s easy to go overboard with the ...

Next stop was just around the bay to the hot springs. The heat from below the surface on the edge of the island has basically formed a warm "bit" of the ocean. A quick dive off the boat and 100m swim in icy cold waters and we were soon both basking in the warmth of a volcano! It also spurts out red mud that if you put it all over yourself you'll become 10 years younger! Some dude there was trying to get his wife ...
