    Igloo room overlooking caldera

    Just cosy, beautiful and breathtaking. Staff were extremely friendly and assisted wtih carrying our bags to the top! Rooms were neat and comfortable.
    The bonus to our stay here was just the top notch view of the caldera. So beautiful!!!

    Checked into our cosy 'igloo' room which overlooked the caldera.

    Had a spa bath and then walked through the town..Went to Parea's for what was meant to be traditional Greek but we got vege sides whcih looked like frozen McCains. However our dessert at the local dessert place pleased us much more - Greek doughnuts! Enough said.

    ... were bigger then my stomach, I wanted another one but ended up getting very full. We just found our new local :) I tipped the guy 3EUR, he seemed very grateful. After that we headed back up stairs to have a jacuzzi, hmmmmmm it was so nice, then followed by a hot showe and bed. Wow the bed was so comfortable and HUGE super king, the pillow were nice and soft and were had plenty of then. I was so blown way by room and the relaxing evening we just had. Loving this place ...

    ... to stop in the middle of the track to do a massive poo which is when most of my friends overtook me, but not for long. Mine the charged at Tash's donkey and they started fighting each other before smashing us into a wall again. I looked up the hill to see about 50 donkeys charging back down the mountain to pick up more people and they all pushed into us brushing past my legs.     ... heat so I walked up aside them in the heat! Some donkeys which had already made it up to the top came cantering down in 3's almost knocking me over unless I jumped aside.

    ... I cared to remember and was sure that I would be loathe to DELETE a SINGLE picture from the twenty minute photo session. We left before it became too dark and were at home again with the opportunity to go to our favourite eatery again for dinner. YEAH what a FANTASTIC DAY !!!
