Just cosy, beautiful and breathtaking. Staff were extremely friendly and assisted wtih carrying our bags to the top! Rooms were neat and comfortable.
The bonus to our stay here was just the top notch view of the caldera. So beautiful!!!

Checked into our cosy 'igloo' room which overlooked the caldera.
Had a spa bath and then walked through the town..Went to Parea's for what was meant to be traditional Greek but we got vege sides whcih looked like frozen McCains. However our dessert at the local dessert place pleased us much more - Greek doughnuts! Enough said.
... fit the cruise demographic. They are from Toorak in Melbourne and have done a few cruises. We trade stories for a while, then we have to excuse ourselves to make it in time for the start of the pub crawl. When we arrive we are given name tags to keep anonymous.....what goes on in the pub crawl stays in the pub crawl. Paul becomes Tom Cruise for the evening and I'm a "divine lover" apparently. Anyway, we are pleasantly surprised to see a large crowd and it is more than just a drink ...

... we had a fabulous view of the island. We could see the entire island, including Thera, and the beach on the other end. We ended up staying for much long than expected and by the time we had finished our bottle of wine the rain had subsided. We took this window of clear skies, to begin our journey back to town hoping to find a gas station. Then entire ride out we had diligently watched for a gas station and found nothing. We weren't sure how far our remaining gas would take ...
