... We walked around the wall then back to the restaurants to have dinner. We chose a three course dinner for 24 Euro. About 9pm we went back to the wall, sat at a table, drank red merlot wine and watched the tide come in until midnight. All tables and chairs were removed and the water splashed over the wall where we had been sitting. Alex used his camera to take timed photography every 20 seconds. It turned it into a movie. We got back to our rooms about ...

... lunch and I had a Pork knuckle. If this is the knuckle of an animal I want to know the size of the pig. My god it was ginormous! We all had great meals and sat around chatting. Rach being our learning German interpreter for the day, she was really good for someone who was just beginning.

We left her to go to her work and then we had a lucky break with the shoes, and just like that we got shoes, a bag and other stuff to finish off our little adventure into town. ...

... away. It took us another 20 minute route march to get to where the car was parked. By now we'd walked half way to Stuttgart...who needs a car! Of course, they didn't have the model we wanted, which was a VW Passat Combi (station wagon), so they gave us a Peugeot (****-joe) MPV. What a piece of junk! The window was so large that the sun glare made the dash appear in white across the inside of the window and we couldn't see anything. We arrived in Stuttgart ...
