I tried out a Sushi restaurant and spent the meal talking to a friendly old Japanese gentleman in his broken English - far better than my non existent Japanese - while his wife looked on as we drank more beer than was probably good for him. And now I'm back at the hostel about to call it a night but first trying Mitake, which is a brand of Sweet Potato ...
