... from an amazing experience. We navigated narrow paths through the icy and snow-covered forests and arrived at our lunch spot much sooner than I expected. Åsa made a roaring fire inside a Tipi, a traditional Sami tent, and made excellent hot dogs as we recounted the excitement of the day so far.

... cocktail... Later that night we went on our first northern lights hunt. We quickly learnt that the secret to seeing the lights is patience and luck, something neither of us have in abundance. So it was no surprise after being out for two hours we turned around and headed home.....when suddenly Anya spotted a green glow in the sky to the east. After the initial shock of realising aliens weren't landing, we pulled over and jumped out the car and there unfolding before our eyes was ...

... not as bad as it sounds. It was actually really warm in the Ice Hotel when you were in your sleeping bags - it was colder outside. I actually had to grab my breakfast as I was running late for my morning excursion - I managed to make a sandwich and got a banana to take with me.

Today I went riding on an Icelandic horse on a Moose Safari. Although I saw the moose did not take a photo of it as it ...
