... from an amazing experience. We navigated narrow paths through the icy and snow-covered forests and arrived at our lunch spot much sooner than I expected. Åsa made a roaring fire inside a Tipi, a traditional Sami tent, and made excellent hot dogs as we recounted the excitement of the day so far.

Getting all the sleds ready for the afternoon session was a mission in itself. The dogs, uber-excited, made life difficult as they just wanted to run, even though we were ...

... face, you certainly get the sleigh attached as quick possible. Per was as health and safety conscious as ever-"just hold the rope and don't fall off". Sound advice for a creature than can run up to 70kph, faster than a horse. Needless to say, within 5 minutes of setting off our reindeer has veered off the path and was up to his neck in snow. Slowly he struggled back onto the path and the rest of the journey went by without any problems, and that pretty much concluded our trip ...

... not as bad as it sounds. It was actually really warm in the Ice Hotel when you were in your sleeping bags - it was colder outside. I actually had to grab my breakfast as I was running late for my morning excursion - I managed to make a sandwich and got a banana to take with me.

Today I went riding on an Icelandic horse on a Moose Safari. Although I saw the moose did not take a photo of it as it ...
