  • Only one main road through the country because private cars only in Albania since end of communism.

    ... just got in the front seat. So with a boot just pushed down Shelley and I spent the journey looking out the back window to make sure Ian's bag wasn't bouncing down the road. We dodged through traffic and came to a screeching (literally) stop when a Policeman stopped us at some broken traffic lights. Its fair to say we were glad to be out of that cab!

    ... pretty cool Roman ruins. Best thing we saw was 'the Blue Eye'. It’s a place where water pumps out of the ground at about 8 cubic meters per second. You can jump into the hole and the water is about 10 degrees so it’s an awesome shock when you hit the water, the water is sooo fresh- it’s coming directly from an aquifer underground.
