... so good that it was hard to pass up. Plus cake for breakfast is much better than eggs or a sandwich. When we were tired of walking around we just went back and hung out in our hotel room. There are almost 500 half-timbered houses, which make this town look like your traditional & cliche German town! Our first stop in toeing the town (besides the cute shop we found and bought scarves) was the Ducal Palace. The foundation walls are from 1292 and was the residence of the Guelphic dukes until 1705.
