    A nice afternoon and evening with cousin Saskia, Mark Tante Nelly and Oom Henk.

    The weather was perfect for a tree top walk and Heather Walk at Het Boomkroonpad.

    An early morning start for me to get to Roelof and Janny's place in Gorredijk. Then we were off to Urk, a fishing village which was once an island. The weather was great to sit outside and enjoy coffee and lunch and a stroll around the village.
    We returned to Gorredijk and then rode bicycles through the woods and countryside to find a lovely quiet place to enjoy afternoon tea, in the sunshine.

    ... Converted from an old cow shed for some coffee and a bread, cheeses and meats platter. Aimee was congratulated by the waitress for how good she spoke Dutch. She must be a natural. The next day we decided to take it easy on the sightseeing and borrow Oma and Iwans bikes for the day.
