Tires and Towers: Kranj and Ljubljana
... all of us participate. It was embarrassing when the old man made me dance with him and play a hat version of musical chairs but looking back it really wasnt that bad and totally a good time. The food was the best version of traditional food that we had the entire trip too so it was really a great experience!
After dinner we just went home, wrote our journals and got a lot of sleep for the next day (we knew it was going to be a long one)!! ...
Island in the middle of a Lake: Bled
... but our guide snuck us in and we found out it wasn't just closed because it was an off season but because parts of the bridge was broken!! We walked on broken boards and missing railing for a little bit of the hike along the gorge. All of this combined with it being slippery was really dangerous but no one got hurt and I am so glad we did it!

Summer Toboggan
Sadly our last day in Slovenia so we decided on a bit of 'adrenalin' for our last morning. After packing up we headed to the slopes and because it was a Saturday, the ski lifts were open! So a peaceful journey to the top watching some BMX dudes tearing up the bike track before making our way to the summer toboggan run.

Bovec rafting
... bright but kind of chalky blue, due to limestone rock. We also saw some tunnels dug in the mountains which were apparently used in the war. Sneaky.
Most of the way was relatively gentle, effortlessly drifting downstream enjoying the scenery and sunny day. But in places we had some pretty good rapids with rocks to avoid and big waves splashing over the front of our raft. I almost fell out a couple of times but did successfully keep ...
Mountain Hike
... We were rewarded with some stunning views aswell as we ascended up.
Eventually we emerged out of the wooded slopes and found ourselves at the top of the ski slope with a great view looking over Kranjska Gora and a glimpse of the Austrian mountains with many peaks on show from the Alps range.
