... Heidi's village. A pleasant short walk leads to a collection of typical mountain houses, a village shop, and of course lots of little goats. Entry into the authentic Heidi House is optional. In wintertime, you'll visit the quaint Swiss village of Werdenberg instead.

A beautiful trip back to Zurich along the banks of Lake Walen, guarded over majestically by the Churfirsten mountain range brings to a close this most nostalgic of Swiss tours.

We had some amazing views of the valleys and saw the museum dedicated to artwork from the artist who drew/created the aliens in the "Alien" films. Although we didn't go in we went to the alien bar opposite which has a lot of the sculptures in it. Oddly creepy but quite cool. We had a few beers at the alien pub and then a nice Swiss lunch with Anna and Mike before heading ...

... hands. I can only imagine what Marlin was going to do. Apparently he is a bit more traveled then I and knew exactly what to do. Our room is lovely and this place has bowls of fruit on each floor. We may have scammed a few tangerines. Dang they were good (afraid of scurvy and all). We unpacked a bit and as I was reading through the travel guide I caught something moving out of the corner of my eye. Yep. The bed was not only memory foam but one that ...
