Awake a little later as tour doesn't leave till 11am. Showered & breakfast @ 7.45 am. Beautiful breakfast once again & we headed off on foot to the coach terminal @ 8.45 am. As we had time to spare we did some window shopping in the main train station called Zurich Hauptbahnhof. The Underground shopping is amazing as you hopefully will see in photos. The train continued South, now at a snail's pace as we climbed into a high mountain pass, surrounded by towering rocky mountains - complete with snow and glaciers - before immediately descending an impossible looking mountainside with tight hairpin bends, into the village of Andermatt. For an afternoon snack we couldn't go past some delicious macaroons from the famous Luxembergeri store along with a coffee down by the lake. What I really liked about this zoo than any other zoo I have visited is that they make it seem like you are actually in the animals real environment/ecosystem incorporating native Swiss plants/vegetation with the vegetation of the environment where the animal comes from.
