... also very BIG and modern in others. We both commented on the amount of weeds that needed spraying. Pretty exhausted, more from the humid weather as much as the walking and dodging traffic. Rather than go out for tea - which means more walking and traffic dodging - we found a supermarket only a short bicycle ride away. Yes, Jurgen has 2 very good bikes for his guests. Now we dodge traffic on bikes while balancing groceries!! As I said pretty exhausted but will sleep ...

... snow. The trip to Muonio will take between 45 to 90 minutes depending on the road conditions which were right now very bad because of the massive amount of snow loaded on top of a thick layer of ice.

We lodge in Muonio, a little town with some 2400 people right at the border to Sweden some 300 km north of Rovaniemi (the home town of Santa ...). The now frozen river ...
