... guy named Ian. He has a huge amount of experience doing what we are doing and had all sorts of tips. The conversation began with me asking him if he was staying in a pension as we couldn't find the indicated campsite anywhere. He said he was just going to crash in the woods. He's done it for years across all countries and never had a problem. Chrissy and I were ready to call it a night so we went on some trails and found a little peice of paradise.

Písek, city of the sand...we found it in our way to Mira's place, and we took the two pics you can see from the oldest Czech Bridge, which was almost completely covered by the floodings in 2002. ... until the early hours. So each english teacher had their own Czech Assistant who helped with materials, brought snacks and sat in on lessons incase we needed them. The first two weeks my assistant was Lenka and the last week Lucka...both great! :-) We had our first disco on the 2nd night and after standing there and realising that all the kids want to dance with their teachers i quickly realised the need for beer at many intervals during the disco...so we kept slipping ...
