Christmas Countdown
... to bake as many biscuit recipies as they can for the Christmas break. They picked 12 recipies this year and I think managed to get 10 done. Not bad really for 6 hours work!
I helped out a little bit, but I was more focused in making a snowball the envy of every kid on the block! Unfortunately I ran out of powder in the small backyard, but still came away with a good result. I don't think it will last the week though!

... br> Then I got busy getting my package organised for Australia by buying a few German things to send home. Go visit Rainer in 2 weeks and you might be able to read a German newspaper. Season 1 of Dr House has been entertaining me in the afternoons as well, but with an upcoming trip to Stuttgart this Sunday, I've been trying to organise that and Christmas cards as well. Philosophizing over Glühwein
... making noise. We escaped the crowds by crossing over the Neckar River and up to the Philosopher's Way which is a famous walking route in Heidelberg.

German Bogans
... arena carpark and Steffie let me get in the driver's seat. It has been many years since I have driven a manual car and although I drove the entire East Coast of Australia in one and rode a motorcycle, it still takes a bit of practice to get the shifting smoother. It wasn't so strange to shift with the right hand because I'm used to driving on the left hand side now after our roadtrip. Nevertheless it was good to get some practice.
