so, as it turns out, espen who is at my hostel had taken the valcano tour the day before me and had met a man who was staying in jaco....just the place i was about to go. this man started talking to espen and soon told him that he had to go home a week early but had this amazing resort for another week and would epsen like to stay there......!!!! …

... I could do was cling on to the huge cliff/rock face on the side of the river, fighting against the current. It was so painful but funny at the same time!

We walked back up to the house to have an early dinner/bedtime as we had to get up at 5am tomorrow, to make sure we saw the builders by ensuring that we were at the building site as the sun was rising, which is how the Costa Ricans tell their time!

... road a little and parked near the beach so we could hang out there for a little bit. The beach was awful looking! It looked dirty and it was definitely touristy so it was a huge disappointment. Some guys came up to us and asked if we wanted a surf lesson for $60 but we told them no. We stood chatting with them for a few minutes and then just decided to leave. There were a bunch of shops lining the street so we decided to go in them. ...

I got back in time to have some early supper and get a taxi to the train station Southern Cross to get the night train to Sydney. 11 hours on a train to me seemed better than on a bus.
And it was, I had 2 seats for me alone :D

After a week in Australia I still feel a little homesick for Costa Rica/desorientated, but i'm ready for new adventures :D

for now the last... Pura Vida! ;-)

... the 3 of us went to Playa Hermosa a few kilometers to the south. This beach had only locals and there were big waves there. There were lots of sand dunes too. You could look down the beach a long ways away and see more beach and white water from the waves crashing. We had seen this view from the road so I wanted to see more of it.
