... would get there and back. It certainly was the right decision. We left the hotel at 6 am but that meant that we were also the first group to start down and the temperature wasn't too hot and the sun didn't bake us when we were in the lower part of the Gorge in the middle of the day.  Was it worth the trek down? ... when we could see it in colour. We spent several hours there lazing around on the sand and in the crystal clear warm water. We had lunch at Almyriki restaurant overlooking the bay at Stavros. We ended up back at Chrisostomos Restaurant again for a different but good dinner.
