  • Tbilisi is a very easy city to get around, though access on the metro to the old town is a little rubbish - you need to walk at least ten minutes from the nearest station to the edge of the old town. ... crowned. The bricks were basalt and black, the top parts of the churches made from tufa. One oddity was a narrow ridge that people tried to walk, holding on to holes and ridges in the stone. To do it successfully meant your wish would come true. The girls and I all failed so we are stuck with the losers! Souvenir sellers are not at all aggressive in Armenia.
