Took the train from Nuremberg to Munich. Encountered a group of refugees. Pretty difficult to get through with all the police that were there as well. I thought we might miss our train!! We didn't miss this connection although it is really full. One more transfer and we will be in ...

We spent the morning at the salt mine. The tour starts with putting coveralls on. We then went on a mini train. We spent the day in Salzburg, about 30 km from Ramsau. After breakfast we headed to a park and ride on the outskirts of Salzburg and took the bus into downtown. We toured the cemetery by St. Peter's church and ...

There was a bread shop with lots of loaves made in the shape of music notes, because for those that don't know this is Mozart country. There are references to it every where. Glennys bought her first purchase for herself. Found a big dress shop run by a gay man. That night we had a drink and then another drink, followed by other drinks, after discovering a bottled of ...

No more art for a while. At least until we get to Berlin. So you can relax! Me too. And back to coffee. We are half way through our trip and are taking it easy in Salzburg. Later mornings and earlier finishes enable us to enjoy Karin's lovely modern, chic apartment. This is her home and during the summer she lets it out while she goes farming in the Tirol, 170kms away. She came back specially yesterday to get the apartment ready and ...
