    ... water. The boats on the lake are all electric to preserve the cleanliness and peacefulness of the area. At one point on the trip the guide gets his trumpet out, and plays a tune next to the cliffside called the Echowand, and depending on the weather the notes echo one or two times - all very funky ...

    Yes... we finally made it to the highlight of the trip for Eamon...... The Sound of Music tour :)We spent this afternoon touring round Salzburg in a mini-bus with 6 Americans and David our tour leader, visiting key buildings and film spots from the film, whilst in between times singing along with the sound track.....E loved it as you can imagine :) Seriously though...     We were all up bright and early Sunday morning to catch the train (Janet and I) and bus (Sarah and Kayla) to Salzburg. A quick sidebar on travelling between Germany and Austria ... because of the refugee crisis, the trains between Munich and Salzburg were cancelled. The busses were running so no issue for the girls.
