... away the bad spirits of winter. We walked around town and enjoyed the music while drinking beer on the street! Then we went to the Mozartplatz area where we enjoyed some spiced wine next to a bon fire in the middle of the city under the stars - it was very romantic and one of the highlights for me! We then hit an amazing authentic Austrian restaurant - Gasthaus Zettler's for lots of different kinds of meat and sides. We had a few drinks ...

What made it somewhat confusing was the fact that it was in a room with the bathtub and sinks, but the toilet was in a separate room entirely. ... his statue buddy again and gave him the "I'm watching you" signal and the statue gave it right back to him. It was pretty hilarious. I was very happy to discover that they have Ben and Jerrys cookie dough ice cream in Austria (my all time favorite ice cream) As soon as we could, we left to go back to Germany. Our hotel in Garmisch was adorable. They had a great little restaurant downstairs where I had my first German beer. That's about it for those two days. Check out the pictures ...

... all night. David and I ordered a 2 course Spargel meal with an appetizer and a main dish. The girls weren't that hungry and they didn't have a kids meal, so they both ordered soup. The bill arrived and I was afraid to look. Let's just say that each soup was over $10 each and Kyle's dish was over $37 and we won't talk about how much David's and mine was. Oh, did I mention the cover charge? Yes, a cover charge of $5.85 per person. Luckily the food was very good. ...
