... t think a lot of cruise boats stop here) so we did not find the Medieval District.
It would have been fun to have rented a bike and they were available for the locals (just like Paris and Barcelona) but would never have wanted to bike on the streets. Traffic was very congested and we also witnessed a truck turn into a small car and smush in the entire side. Don't know how it resolved. Two young ladies got out of the car to ...
... where you can get food before 9 or 9:30 pm when the restaurants open. It wasn't as much fun popping "mystery food" into our mouths...all with a fishy flavor. Zaragoza As with every place in Spain we have visited so far, we arrive around 1, find a place for a quick lunch and then realize that everything shuts down between 1-4. The streets are deserted. ... I think I've just been jaded by all the terrible hostel experiences in Colombia (cockroaches and thieves, mostly), but I forgot that some hostel exist in the world that are clean, quiet, cheap, and have a functioning reception. Who knew?
(Aside: Actually, now that I think about it, the worst hostel that I ever stayed in was in Pisa. By far. Had to sleep on the floor because sheets actually writhing with bed bugs...urgh).
Anyway, I'd highly recommend staying ...
