New town and skiing

... we went for a walk to the gondola which is near our apartment. It took us to the top of the mountain and we had a little hike across the slopes to have a look around. It is a ski resort at the moment but we just walked around and had a look, turns out the slopes are mostly advanced there.

... After breakfast we returned to our rooms for a while, then headed off to the Markets at Dom Plaza, before finding a taxi and heading out of town, and into the forest for lunch at the Daxlueg. Austria is another country of great pride. You only have to drive through

... a bit out of the way for getting to Salzburg but many pretty scenes, houses and mountains were evident on the road there. This little town is very pretty indeed – high, snowy mountains and a great big lake. Plenty of pretty little houses also. ... t nearly as big, but the setting was much more spectacular with the lake and mountains providing a breathtaking backdrop.

For dinner we went to the Crazy Daisy, where we sat outside with blankets and heat lamps. I had the Wiener Schnitzel, which was excellent. We spent the rest of the evening enjoying the wonderful Steinbock Apartment, as it was our last night there.
